Is it possible to learn martial arts quickly and easily like we get information from the Internet?
As the world has been connected through the Internet, a lot of people want to learn martial arts quickly and easily.
Martial arts, however, can only stay so old-school.
Korea has the fastest Internet in the world.
When I visited several other countries, I was able to realize that 'Korea is in fact a strong IT nation'.
Some of the European countries had really slow Internet compared to Korea.
Thanks to its speedy Internet,
people from Korea can easily watch videos on martial arts from all around the world.
There are even lectures on Martial arts.
Just because someone has watched some videos on a martial art, and acquired some principles and skill about it, it doesn't mean that person has really understood the martial art.
Martial art does not yield a direct result like Input-output procedure of the digital system.
If you want to use your hands and feet well, you have to put time and effort.
Even the simplest basic move will be nothing, if you don’t practice them with much time and labor.
There needs to be sweat from real punches and kicks.
It takes a lot of effort to reach the state where your body reacts before you think.
This is the core of martial art practice.
Things easily learned will be easily forgotten, and the reality will be different from the imagination.
Develop your ability through constant training, skill practice, and getting physical with others.
Meeting a good instructor is also important.
A good instructor leads its trainee to the right way, and efficient training.
An honest training in old-school way!
It would be the only way for self-development and quality enhancement.
