Are we supposed to condemn a person who does a study on his field of expert?

When I look at social networks or the Internet there are a lot of unaccountable condemnation in the field of martial arts.

When such condemnations are from those who do martial arts, it is quite heartbreaking.

A few years ago 'Do-all Kim Yong-ok 'gave a lecture on 'Zhongyong(中庸; the Doctrine of Mean)' on EBS.

I learned a big lesson from the lecture.

It was that 'People who practice martial arts are stingy about expressing respect and encouragement to each other. And a person becomes one who deserves to be esteemed when the person is acknowledged, respected, and cared.'

Making money by sparking issues without any basic skills and philosophy and promoting development through research are two different things. Should we not send a round of applause to those who seek new methods with such integrity?

We need to have the passion to study and explore new things.

Once settled, there is no more development.

A martial art without any further development is dead.

Of course, the study and development should be done within the bigger framework of the martial art.

I think doing a study and making development, while keeping the identity of each martial art, need to be welcomed more.

The most desirable would be encouraging the person who trains every day, studies and tries new things, rather than condemning.
